We’re Alec and Rachel, the husband-and-wife team behind Cheese Riot. Alec grew up in the pizza world—his family has been operating Seattle pizza businesses since 1994—so he’s been slinging pies since before he could drive. He likes to joke that he’s got marinara in his blood, and honestly… it’s probably true. After years of experimenting with crusts, toppings, and all the cheesy goodness you can imagine, we decided it was time to bring Alec’s creations to life. That’s how Cheese Riot was born—a deep-dish takeout and delivery spot tucked inside a well-loved restaurant incubator in West Seattle. Our goal? To share our pizza with as many people in Washington as possible, one ridiculously tasty slice at a time.
